The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency (NDHFA) has recently recognized FCCU as one of six outstanding partners for the Champion of Affordable Housing Award.

Recipients of the Champion of Affordable Housing-Award of Excellence are named for their best practices and outstanding delivery of NDHFA’s homeownership programs.

“Congratulations to the FCCU Home Loans team. This entire group works hard to get our borrowers into their new homes and to be recognized by NDHFA is an honor,” said Mary Radenz, VP of Mortgage Lending.

NDHFA’s FirstHome™ program, provides low- to moderate-income buyers with affordable mortgage loans, along with down payment and closing cost assistance. The HomeAccess program extends similar support to single parents, veterans, and families with disabled or elderly household members. NDHFA’s Roots program serves households who previously owned a home or those with incomes exceeding the limits of the agency’s standard programs. Roots can also be utilized for the refinancing of residential real estate loans. Participating lenders play a crucial role by originating loans on behalf of NDHFA. In a recent press release, Dave Flohr, the agency’s executive director states, “We believe in the power of partnership,” He goes on to say, “The Champion of Affordable Housing Awards are a testament to the commitment of our partners and their vital role in advancing our mission and helping to make homeownership a reality for so many North Dakotans.”
