FCCU To Support Make-A-Wish & Cancer Causes

The fourth quarter fundraising cause, as chosen by FCCU staff, is cancer causes. Each quarter FCCU’s 260 employees choose an organization to support by raising money and awareness.
To support this worthy cause, FCCU staff will be holding a variety of fundraisers as well as supporting a child fighting cancer through Make-A-Wish North Dakota. Together with members and community members, our goal is to raise enough money to Adopt-A-Wish and make a wish come true for one child battling cancer in our field of membership.
A pop-up store offering co-branded Make-A-Wish and FCCU t-shirts and sweatshirts will be open through November 13th. Make your impact and order a shirt in the link below.
In addition to the pop-up store, FCCU will also be holding a supply drive at each branch, for those battling cancer.
Supply Drive Items Needed Includes:
Lip Balm, Unscented Lotion, Coloring Books, Puzzle or Activity Books, Notebook or Journal, Books & Magazines, Colored Pens, Hard Candy or Gum, Ginger Chews, Healthy Snacks, Soft or Funny Socks, Blankets, Knit Hats, Hand Sanitizer or Gas Cards.
Other fundraising activities include World’s Finest Chocolate candy bar sales, casual days and volunteering when possible. Special Note: We’ll be holding a special silent auction featuring hockey items in November/December. Stay tuned for more information.
For over 40 years, Make-A-Wish has been granting life-changing wishes for critically ill children and families. A wish can be the spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses.
