Meet Our Newest Board Member

First Community Credit Union is proud to welcome Chris Aarhus to our Board of Directors.
Raised on his family's farm, Aarhus graduated from Sherwood High School and furthered his education at Dickinson State University, earning a B.S. in Writing. Aarhus worked as an editor and writer for 13 years, before becoming an editor for North Dakota Farmers Union, where he currently works today. Aarhus is an avid volunteer, helping organizations like Great Plains Food Bank, 4-H, and participating in various blood donations. He also serves the Chamber of Commerce on the Energy and Agriculture Committee.
Aarhus replaces former board member Sandy Franke after her unexpected passing. Nominations for Board Member positions will open in late fall, with voting taking place at FCCU's Annual Meeting in March of 2024.
