Groundbreaking Held for New Moorhead Branch

On Tuesday, May 16th, we held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for our new Moorhead location. Set to open in late summer or early fall of 2024, the branch will be located on 34th St S. in Moorhead.
In attendance was our President/CEO Steve Schmitz, Moorhead Mayor Shelly Carlson, several city officials, FCCU staff members and several Board of Directors. On the sunny spring afternoon, the group broke ground on the fresh 1.13-acre lot.
The new facility will be 4,818 square feet in size and will feature four offices, a complete lobby and teller line with a vaulted ceiling, a break room, a secure work room and two drive up lanes with an ATM. The stone and steel building will be situated next to the busy 34th Street I-94 exit, near Menards and the new Moorhead Schools Career Academy.
"We serve many Moorhead area residents now, but this new branch shows our committement to this strong community. We're looking forward to our future in Moorhead and all that lies ahead for our members," said Chris Howell, Fargo Market President.
The branch will be the fourth Minnesota location for First Community Credit Union, providing a more convenient location for many of our Minnesota members. We're very excited for this opportunity of growth and are looking forward to adding to our FCCU family!
