First Community Credit Union is sponsoring its annual Shred Day at several locations. These events are free and open to the public.

Spring Shred Event Dates

• Jamestown - 111 9th St SW on Saturday, April 29th from 9 am – until trucks are full
• Devils Lake- 1117 Hwy 2 E on Monday, May 8th from Noon-1pm

During the week of April 24-28, secured bins for shredding will be available during lobby hours at the following branches:

• Crookston- 2315 North Acres Dr.
• Fargo Branches:
• Fargo 45th- 4521 19 Ave S
• Fargo 52nd- 5201 42nd St S
• Fargo Northland- 1404 12th Avenue N
• Grand Forks- 32nd- 3351 32nd Ave S
• Kindred- 120 Spruce St.
• Larimore-217 Towner Ave
• Milnor- 302 5th Avenue
• Napoleon- 97 Broadway
• Oakes- 103 N 7^th St.
• Page- 115 Morton Ave
• Portland-213 Parke Ave
• Steele- 202 Mitchell Ave NW
• Valley City- 115 5th Ave NE
• Wahpeton- 1601 Wheatland Rd.
• Wishek- 1307 Beaver Ave

In addition, during the week of April 24-28, drop off shred items will be accepted at Hankinson and Climax.

*FCCU will accept items until the truck or bins are full.

Shred Event Guidelines

Acceptable Items:

• Paper, regular and colored
• Staples
• Paper clips
• Envelopes

CDs will be accepted but they must be in a separate bin and are not able to be shredded on site.

Not accepted:

• Magazines
• Books
• Clasp envelopes
• Binder clips
• Hanging file folders (with the metal bars)
