Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of International Credit Union Day

On Thursday, October 19, 2023 FCCU will celebrate International Credit Union Day, alongside thousands of other credit unions. This year's theme is "Empower Your Financial Future".
This year will mark the 75th anniversary as we celebrate the credit union difference, history and the success of the "People not Profit" philosophy. Today, over 235 million people are served by credit unions in 109 countries and six continents.

In addition to this celebratory day, October is National Co-Op Month. Did you know, all co-ops are founded on the seven cooperative principles? These principles guide the decision-making and foundation of all co-ops, new or old! These principles include:

- Education, Training and Information
- Cooperation among Cooperatives
- Concern for Community
