Scholarship Opportunity For High School Seniors and College Students

In partnership with the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation Scholarship Council (FCS), First Community Credit Union is pleased to offer a scholarship program available to both high school seniors and post-secondary school students.
For the 2023/2024 school year, $16,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Members attending post-secondary education in the the fall academic year or high school students graduating in 2023 are eligible. Each recipient will be awarded $1,000. Those applying do not have to be a Minnesota resident.
To enter, complete an application and essay online with more information at mnfsc.org or on FCCU's Scholarships page.The deadline to apply is November 30, 2022. Last year, FCCU was proud to have a member be a recipient of this scholarship.
2023 Essay Question: "With rising costs of living, how has this impacted your financial goals and how can your credit union help you achieve them?" Essay tips: Please share your personal story; use the specifics you identified in the preliminary questions to write your essay.
Remember to watch for FCCU's scholarship application for high school seniors. We begin accepting applications in early January!
