New Board Member Announced at 83rd Annual Meeting

03/17/2022

FCCU held its 83rd Annual Meeting on March 15th, 2022. Speeches were given by our President/CEO, Steve Schmitz, Board President, Owen Olson and CFO, Sean Rinkenberger, with a crowd of around 100 members, board of directors and staff in attendance.

There were three positions up for re-elections for FCCU's board of directors. This year we had three people running including Mark Watne, Douglas Kalianoff and Owen Olson. As directed by the by-laws, the vacancies were filled by acclamation.

Please help us welcome Douglas Kalianoff to his first term on FCCU's board of directors. Kalianoff served on the BEK Communications board for 18 years, three of which he was the board president. He has a strong agricultural background and owned his own business for more than 25 years. Kalianoff currently resides in Fargo.

Dayne Headland has retired from FCCU's board of directors after nearly 30 years of service. Be watching for upcoming communications as we recognize and thank him for his service and impact on our Credit Union.

President Steve Schmitz reported FCCU has had continued growth and throughout much uncertainty, our Credit Union remains financially strong. Assets have grown to be $1.06 billion at the end of the year, exceeding the billion dollar mark for the first time in history last March.

Attendees of the meeting received the 2021 Annual Report, which highlights activities, management, and financials of the last year for the Credit Union. Click here to view the 2021 Annual Report.

FCCU looks forward to Kalianoff serving on the Board of Directors.
