International Credit Union Day
On October 19th, 2017, credit union members around the world will celebrate International Credit Union Day, an annual event to commemorate the credit union movement's impact and achievements. In honor of this special day, First Community Credit Union invites its members and the entire community to an open house at each of our branch locations. We will have giveaways, door prizes, and refreshments.
Since 1948, International Credit Union Day has been celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October. This year's theme is "Dreams Thrive Here," a celebration of how credit unions help people achieve their biggest goals in life.
FCCU will be helping to make miracles happen on International Credit Union Day by participating in Shop for Miracles. We will make a donation to our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Sanford in Fargo, on behalf of our cardholders. Like all CMNH donations, funds raised locally will stay in the community to support the hospital's greatest needs, including life-saving research, treatments, equipment or charitable care. Thank you for using your credit union credit or debit card. Together we can make miracles for kids in our community!
On October 19th, credit unions from around the world will join forces to celebrate the day with you through membership drives, contests, and fundraisers to help out their local communities. We hope you can join First Community as we celebrate International Credit Union Day!
